Project Details

Mandapa, a Ritz Carlton reserve, is located on the bank of the Ayung River and nestled deep among dense forest and rice paddies. An exclusive property with only sixty villas, there is a small selection of five restaurants for fine dining, a library for chilling, with outdoor pursuits on offer for yoga, swimming and cycling programmes and of course the five-star spa which aims to offer a more holistic Balinese experience, taking in many traditional aspects of the Bali culture.

Barr + Wray were contracted for the design, supply and installation of the separate sex heat experiences, comprising of a panoramic sauna, steam room and ice fountain. The spa is crowned by a sizeable rooftop vitality pool, taking views over the torrent river as it flows past the spa with the procession of white water rafters. With a bank of bubble beds and infinity edge neck massage jets, the ultra-violet treated pool system is the last word in spa relaxation.
