The Four Seasons Hotel group has opened its first ever hotel in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan. Designed by UK-based architects ReardonSmith, the 175-bedroom hotel will include a range of restaurants and an 800 square-metre (8,611 square-foot) Jaleh Spa.
Facilities at the spa, which were designed by B+W in partnership by Spa Developments Consultancy and interior designer Richmond International, include nine single treatment rooms and a VIP couples' suite.
The hotel hosts a roof top spa and a pool at fourth floor level under an atrium that soars upwards to a glass roof. The wet areas, supplied by B+W, feature separate hammams for males and females, steam rooms, saunas, heated loungers, a Rasul and more. B+W was brought on board in the early stages of the contract, designing the thermal experiences, lap, vitality and spa pools, as well as the associated water filtration and treatment plants.
Equipment designed and installed by B+W includes; three saunas, four steam rooms, eight heated loungers, two experience showers, two ice fountains, a Rasul, two hammams and four steam showers.
