Gasholders London, a 23,950 square-metre residential complex of 145 flats, all neatly contained within the listed structure of the original gas holder frames from 1880. The frames were restored by Shepley Engineers in Sheffield and re-erected just north of where they stood before, beside the Regent’s Canal, but on the other side of it.
Gasholders London offers communal facilities, including a business suite and cocktail bar by the lobby and a spa on the ground floor of Gasholder 10, while a gym and screening room are on the first floor.
B+W are delighted to have recently completed the design, supply, install and commissioning of the spa facilities within this new luxury development. We were responsible for the design, supply, install and commissioning of a Hydrotherapy pool and associated filtration system. The pool benefits from a range of features including a waterfall, a stainless steel body massage station and two stainless steel air recliners.
Residents will also benefit from a steam room, sauna, experience shower with midnight rain function and heated loungers. All thermal experiences were also under B+W’s scope of works.
