Commissioned by Federal Land, the Metrobank Tower is home to Manila’s newest five-star property, the Grand Hyatt. The development consists of a 66-storey, 280-metre tower (currently the tallest in the Philippines), the Metrobank Financial Center and the 45-storey Grand Hyatt residences.
The property is located in the area known as Fort Bonifacio or Bonifacio Global City, now a financial and lifestyle district. This is a far cry from the previous tenants, being the Philippine Army.
Facilities on site include multiple F+B outlets, a fitness centre, pools and the Illume spa experience. B+W were appointed as the wet spa consultants before going on to secure the supply contract, which included male and female locker room facilities. These consisted of fully glazed saunas, steam rooms, experience showers and vitality pools with air recliners and neck massages.
B+W worked alongside local installation and fit-out contractor, BCMS, located in Manila.
