This Grade-I listed building in the heart of London, originally a bank, has been developed and restored to hold 252 hotel bedrooms, twelve restaurants and bars, a members club, a gym, Cowshed spa and two swimming pools, as well as six dedicated event spaces.
The Ned’s Clubhouse - spanning 2,401 square-metres - offers a panoramic rooftop space for members and hotel guests with views to St Paul’s Cathedral and beyond. A member’s only area is located in the heart of the building and boasts an all-hours cocktail lounge. Ned’s Club Active and Relax space is situated on the lowest level of the building. The active area has a variety of gym equipment along with three studios for pilates, yoga and spinning. The relax space is built around a 20-metre indoor pool complete with a sauna, steam room, traditional Moroccan hammam and eight treatment rooms.
B+W worked alongside Ardmore Construction on this luxurious project. We were responsible for the design, supply and installation of both filtration and water treatment systems for the rooftop and indoor pool.
We also supplied and installed the bespoke thermal cabins, which consisted of a sauna, steam room and Moroccan hammam. The Moroccan hammam offers users a traditional cleansing experience derived from an ancient Moroccan ritual involving steam and cleansing black soap.
With London based Soho House & Co and New York’s Sydell Group joining forces on this stunning hotel, it is set to be one of 2017’s biggest openings
